It is announced that from 18 until 20 of June 2018 takes place in Freiburg, Germany, the 1st meeting on "Prevention, Investigation and Sanctioning of Economic Crime", within the General Conference for the 3rd Department of the 20th International Criminal Law Convention of AIDP on "Criminal Justice and Corporate Business", in honor of the 80th Birthday of Professor Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Klaus Tiedemann.

The Conference will be attended by a number of speakers from many countries around the world, while it will be chaired by: Prof. Dr. Valsamis Mitsilegas(University of Queen Mary), Prof Dr. Robert Esser(University of Passau) and Prof. Dr. Ralf Poscher(University of Freiburg).Greece will be represented by the President of the European and International Criminal Law Institute, Christos C. 2nd CONFERENCE OF THE EUROPEAN & INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL LAW INSTITUTE

The European & International Criminal Law Institute held on Thursday, 17 December 2015, at the “Yannos Kranidiotis” Auditorium of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1 Akademias Str., Athens), its 2nd Conference with the general theme:

“Antiquities and International Criminal Law. International aspects of the judicial protection of cultural heritage”

Conference Chair:

Opening Address:

Christos Mylonopoulos, Professor of Criminal Law & Criminal Procedure, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens: “Internationalism and Nationalism in the protection of antiquities with the means of criminal law. The criminal law aspects of the Parthenon Marbles case.”

Speakers:

  1. Andrea Castaldo, Professor of Criminal Law, University of Salerno: “Protection of cultural property in Italian criminal law”.
  2. Ioannis Androulakis, Lecturer in Criminal Law & Criminal Procedure, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens: “Criminal law aspects of international trafficking in cultural property”.
  3. Ι, Dr.jur., Attorney-at-Law: “Issues of error in the disposal of antiquities being the product of crime in the context of the international trade in antiquities”.

ΤΟ ΠΡΩΤΟ ΣΥΝΕΔΡΙΟ ΤΟΥ ΙΝΣΤΙΤΟΥΤΟΥ ΕΥΡΩΠΑΪΚΟΥ ΚΑΙ ΔΙΕΘΝΟΥΣ ΠΟΙΝΙΚΟΥ ΔΙΚΑΙΟΥ


Θέμα: «Οικονομικά Εγκλήματα και Διεθνές Ποινικό Δίκαιο»


Το πρώτο Συνέδριο του Ινστιτούτου Ευρωπαϊκού και Διεθνούς Ποινικού Δικαίου πραγματοποιήθηκε με μεγάλη επιτυχία και αθρόα προσέλευση στο Αμφιθέατρο του Υπουργείου Εξωτερικών στις 4 Ιουνίου 2015.  Όπως τόνισε ο Πρόεδρος του Ινστιτούτου Καθηγητής Χρίστος Μυλωνόπουλος σκοπός του Ινστιτούτου δεν είναι μόνον η καλλιέργεια του διεθνούς ποινικού δικαίου αλλά και να καταστεί αυτό πόλος αναφοράς για τους νέους νομικούς με σεμινάρια και  εφαρμογή του e learning σε συνεργασία με ξένα Πανεπιστήμια και Ινστιτούτα. Χαιρετισμό απήθυνε ο Επιτιμος Εισαγγελέας του Αρείου Πάγου κ. Ιωάννης Τέντες. Γενική εισήγηση έκανε ο Καθηγητής κ.  Μυλωνόπουλος με θέμα: «Η αποστολή του διεθνούς ποινικού δικαίου και οι  προκλήσεις της σύγχρονης πραγματικότητας» Στη συνέχεια μίλησαν διακεκριμένοι εκπρόσωποι της ποινικής θεωρίας και συγκεκριμένα:
